Welcome to ICS' July Newsletter

At ICS, we are always thrilled when we get the opportunity to contribute to the greater good, whether that involves developing new medical devices or supporting charitable initiatives. That’s why we’re so proud of our collaboration with the non-profit Project RED. Together, we created an accurate, easy-to-use, inexpensive ventilator for treating COVID-19 patients in India, South America and other areas of the world with limited access to existing, costly medical equipment. We’re delighted to be recognized for this important work by the UX Design Awards organization. Our nomination is a clear indication that UX design is an integral part of product development success. You can read more about our award nomination in this issue.

In addition, explore the first two installments in our timely series Securing the Cloud with AWS, as well as the final blog in our five-part series on developing with microcontrollers. Also this month, we’re sharing details on upcoming virtual Qt training opportunities, as well as a slate of in-person, hybrid and virtual medical device-focused events.
