Peter Winston

Peter Winston, Chief Executive Officer

It was at the X User Conference at MIT in 1987 that Peter confirmed what he suspected — interface design (today user experience or UX) was the future. And with that, he founded Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS). Thirty-plus years later, thriving at the intersection of UX and engineering, ICS is a team of skilled software engineers, UX designers, certified project managers, and cybersecurity and regulatory experts that creates transformational products.

From his first job out of Vassar — developing early generation software for PCs and workstations at Digital Equipment Corp — to today, Peter’s instinct for what’s ahead has served him well. As ICS’ guiding force, he leads by the mantra “inventing the future,” conceiving new solutions to high-impact problems, such as traffic congestion, cancer treatment and connected-device security.

Peter drives innovation by pairing data with intuition, leading his team – which he considers the key to ICS’ success – in developing modern user interfaces, connected products and touchscreen-enabled applications. ICS’ portfolio spans everything from agriculture equipment, smart medical devices and commercial-kitchen appliances to air traffic control and in-vehicle infotainment and autonomous-driving systems for respected organizations, including Quidel, Boston Scientific, Boeing and Intel.

Sarah Lummus

Sarah Lummus, Chief Financial Officer

Following undergraduate study at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, Sarah began her career as a registered financial consultant with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and EF Hutton investment groups. She joined ICS in 1987 and held several key positions within operations, human resources and finance before becoming CFO in 1997. During her tenure, she’s played a pivotal role building ICS’ infrastructure and managing its overall growth and global expansion. Sarah is also heavily involved with canine rescue organizations and also gives her time to non-profits focused on children and education.

Dan McGillivray

Dan McGillivray, Vice President of Sales

A global sales, operations and business development executive, Dan has shaped the direction of ICS’ sales organization to ensure the company remains well-positioned to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Prior to joining ICS, Dan held a number of leadership roles, including global sales director at DiSTI Corporation, a leading provider of graphical user interface software and 3D virtual training solutions. He also spent nine years as global sales director of Mentor Graphics’ embedded software division, growing sales by 400% to $100M. Dan earned a B.A. in accounting and computer science from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University.

Jay Noble

Jay Noble, Vice President of Software Engineering Services

Jay heads ICS' global team of engineers, leveraging his more than 25 years of experience leading global software engineering and professional services teams in the medical, military and industrial spaces. Prior to joining ICS, Jay was responsible for software delivery at two medical services companies. He also led a 100+ person global engineering team for an organization that developed software for the petrochemical industry. In addition, Jay was the architect/technical lead for several international military communication systems developed for naval, Air Force and ground use.

Jay earned a B.S. in computer science from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, a M.S. in computer science from Boston University and an MBA in international business from Suffolk University in Boston.
