Qt Releases & Snapshots
Priority is still being given to getting a Qt 5.4 RC release out. This was supposed to happen last week, but various issues prevented it. We may yet see something this week. Current snapshots:
Qt Release Update
- Qt 5.4.0 is now "frozen".
- At this time, only bug fixes will be allowed into the 5.4.0 release tree.
- The current plan is to get an RC out on Tuesday November 18.
- Paul Lemire has been nominated as an Approver.
The Qt mailing list traffic has been slow due to the Qt Developer Days 2014 conference held in San Francisco all of last week.
Qt 5.4.0 Branching
Qt 5.4.0 branching will take place Monday November 10.

Qt Release Roster
The updated Qt 5.4.0 is scheduled to have a release candidate on November 18 and a final release on December 2.
The initial plan for Qt 5.5.0 Alpha version is to release it on Feb 17, 2015.

Releases and Nominations
A Qt 5.4.0 beta is scheduled for release this week.
Lars Knoll is proposing some people as Platform Maintainers, whose job it will be to test and possibly fix errors/issues on a given platform. The current nominees are:
- Windows: Friedemann
- WinRT: Andrew Knight
