Welcome to ICS' February Newsletter
February has been busy at ICS as we prepare for a sizable presence at next week’s Embedded World, which runs Feb. 26-28 in Nuremberg, Germany. Work from ICS and Boston UX will be featured in booths sponsored by The Qt Company, Automotive Grade Linux, Toradex, DiSTI and Mentor Graphics. Our demos include reference applications for Amazon Alexa Auto SDK, a patient-monitoring system running on Toradex iMX8, a voice-enabled auto IVI built with Qt and Alexa, a medical UI for Mentor's Embedded Linux, and UX for IVI, cluster and medical applications using DiSTI's GL Studio. As if that’s not enough, we’re also giving a lightning talk, Quickly Deliver a Quality UI for Embedded Devices, that explains how to streamline the design and development of UX for embedded systems. You can read more in this issue.
Also this month, you can get details on our live March webinar on Qt for Python, and our on-demand CMake webinar. You’ll also find articles on wearable technology, QDate, building an interactive game, and ethics in design.
Cheers!
