The Qt Company has put together a small slide show of upcoming events at the Qt World Summit 2016 in San Francisco:

The QtLocation module relies on some map providers that do not require fees or registration, such as MapQuest.  However, it looks like MapQuest has made a change and now does indeed require registration. As a result, QtLocation will fail if using that provider. More details at:
