- The Qt Company is announcing Qt Quick 3D, a new 3D API for QML:

(It may be a technology preview for 5.14. For now, it is usable with Qt 5.12 and higher.)
- A proposal has been posted to the development mailing list to incorporate Qt PDF as a new tech preview module for 5.14. The module would use PDFium (incorporated into Webengine) for its rendering.
