Qt News and Views

Qt 5.6 binary snapshots are still not available, though work is ongoing.

Frank Meerkötter has proposed contributing a Qt API wrapper for OPCUA (OPC Unified Architecture). This is a machine-to-machine communication protocol used in industrial applications. “Our initial contribution would include a plugin for the Open Source Free OPC-UA stack. We also have implementations for two more (commercial) OPC-UA stacks available which we might contribute at a later point depending on license issues.”
