Here's an update from the Qt Release Team meeting minutes:
Qt 5.8.0 beta: Due to some blockers, it's unlikely they will be able to keep the original beta schedule.
Qt 5.6.2: Though Qt 5.8.0 will have priority over 5.6.2, the hope is to release it early this week.
Qt 5.7.1: Branching from 5.7 to 5.7.1 is ongoing. The target is to get a snapshot out after 5.6.2 is released.
